Or: the 1001 Things to do Before I Die
I *hearts* Lists. All kinds of them lists, really. I was born with < li > and < ul > watermarked on my bum :
- extensive to-do-ingame lists,
- bucketlists covering a wide variety of subjects
- magnet and note-it lists on the fridge,
- loose words on a string of toilet paper,
- shopping lists,
- colourful lists trying out all the pens and markers on my desk
- iphone music playlists
- 5 pages long “Good Resolution” lists for the next year
- lists of online resources
- blogroll lists
- Santa, please bring me X, Y and Z lists
- lists of possible lists to make
- ….
They’re quite handy for muddleheads like me. I personify organized chaos.
Anyway, I’m not slacking. I am just working on a lot of things at the same time, in case you wonder why this blog isn’t going anywhere in particular at the moment. Rest assured, though. My days mainly consist of: sleep – work – food – wow – blog – pie – sleep.
Currently working on:
- A new header. Something realllly cool, something very “me”. Status: nearly done!
- Finish compiling and writing my healing guide before Cata. Status: far far far from done but will be onlien before cataclysm
- Researching html wordpress resources for adding bookmarks, mousovers and pulling content from wowhead for mousovers
- New plug-in for related post feature
- New plug-in for blog roll new post display
- Getting lightbox and gallery configured
- Currently trialing a topplayer and friend who I have asked to join my blog and start writing articles as my co-writer 😉
- Project Vanilla – see below
- Finishing ingame achievements before expansion
And what not. I’ll keep you posted ^.^
Vanilla Project: Azeroth v0.1
With Cataclysm being announced, we will soon be facing a trail of ruin and devastated landscapes. As exciting as all of this may sound, the quests, the scenery and the story; they’re all sutured into the theme of our old Azeroth. I would like to keep some substantial evidence of my roots in Azeroth. That is why I have been burying myself in lore the past week, spending most of my time walking down memory lane.
The first pane of my Vanilla Project will include:
- a page of contents with nifty banners and links
- a panorama of each Azeroth zone
- 1 favourite enhanced screenshot of the zone, with the general “feel” -as it once was- as a reference.
- a series of snapshots of the natural and cultural (tribes) splendors of that zone
- (might include personal memories and stories later at some point)
- we’re trying to get some frapsing going to make a video of the most beautiful places in Old Azeroth, before the invasions are getting out of hand.
- looking for some old bits of code from an older project, putting images into 360°panorama’s
