About bucket lists and frenzied achievement runs

By admin in : Stoicism // Oct 29 2010

It’s that time of the year again. That whole ingame achievement system pampers and cradles my compulsory –nearly neurotic- personality. I NEED to complete lists. I can’t leave things undone, there is no way to live with myself if I do. And that is why I am spending way too much time achievement hunting again and way too little time being creative these days.

You see… When I used to smoke weed, I was done for the day until I was out like a light. It’s much like smoking a pack of cigs a day and quitting cold turkey. When I quit, I quit.  When I eat, I eat a lot, but when I activate my secret care button, I manage to lose 20 pounds simply on character. Which I also manage to gain again not long after because the concept of “half” doesn’t really fit my style.
Now when I write and blog, I spam bullshit like no other. When I don’t blog a lot, I just simply don’t write. When I drink, I’m drunk per definition. Because in my book ‘eentje is geentje” (one is none). When I talk, I’m hard to stop. When I don’t talk, I’m deadly silent. When I read, I finish that book in one go. When I love, I go all in.
I wonder sometimes if there is a cure.

Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I am working on a lot of things simultaneously and that I’m cooking up something extremely nice! Check it out here.

But you know what they say about patience, virtue and the little girl called Grace, right? 😉

Macro time! ./tar Lippt ./cast intant big finnish bearhug ./happy !
Let’s get out the calculator. 1 hug at pull, 1 at transition, 1 at ph2, 1 at transition, 2 each harvest soul round in ph3. That means we will have to wipe 16 times if I add 4 hugs for the kill.

HEY Ollie 😀 I know I know! But I have done my research, my bookmarks are set and tomorrow, after I’m done bitching about Halloween, I’m hitting the books ! * promised!* And besides, I so totally don’t believe I am an Orc.

        not an orc TROLL!

night elves are descended from trolls. An in-game book, “The Twin Empires”, contains the following passage: “Ancient texts speak of a small faction of trolls that broke off from the Amani Empire and founded their own colony in the heart of the dark continent. There, these brave pioneers discovered the cosmic Well of Eternity which transformed them into beings of immense power. Some legends suggest that these adventurous trolls were the first Night Elves, though this theory has never been proven.”

Trolls are the first race on Azeroth, night elves are the second, and trolls and night elves have very similar appearances. It is strongly suspected that night elves are trolls that wandered too close to the Well of Eternity and mutated.
